Substances are artisanal, effervescent, natural, and living fermented beverages, envisioned by Myrko Tépus, winemaker and farmer in Esparron, in Northern Provence.
Inspired by winemaking traditions, the cuvées are designed to be complex, structured, and evolving.
The expertise relies on a fine mastery of fermentation processes, allowing for the development of deep aromatic profiles, an elegant texture, and a beautiful length on the palate.
Each creation comes to life from energized spring water from the Verdon, in which the fermentation of premium teas and organic French beet sugar is orchestrated.
The cuvées are then elevated by infusions of exceptional ingredients, carefully selected from the heart of the Provence terroir, bringing richness, balance, and uniqueness to each blend.
The result: gastronomic, non-alcoholic, living, elegant, and expressive beverages, designed to accompany a meal perfectly or be enjoyed on their own, as a moment unto themselves.
For an optimal experience, the cuvées should be enjoyed chilled, between 8 and 12°C, to reveal their full complexity and finesse.
Unpasteurized, Substances cuvées retain all the richness and vitality of living things and can evolve naturally over time.
⚠️: IMPORTANT FOR PREGNANT WOMEN: as Substances cuvées are living and unpasteurized, their consumption is not recommended for pregnant women as a precautionary measure.
Discover L'ARRIEULAT - Alpine Depth (Pyrenean yellow tea, Cascara)
A deep and unique cuvée, where the finesse of a Pyrenean yellow tea meets the fruity and delicately roasted notes of cascara from Maison L'Arbre à Café.
Tasting: its amber hue with golden highlights promises a tasting experience full of subtlety. Its fine, natural effervescence provides an elegant and airy texture. The yellow tea unveils sweet, slightly honeyed, and vegetal notes, to which the cascara adds beautiful aromatic complexity, blending nuances of ripe fruit, dried grapes, and a delicate touch of roasting. The whole offers a harmonious balance between freshness, roundness, and depth. The finish, long and persistent, leaves a warm and delicately fruity impression.
Pairings: as an aperitif or accompanying roast poultry, mushroom risotto, aged Comté cheese, or a dessert with nuts, coffee, or blond chocolate.
