Feral, the fermented botanical drinks of the Dolomites.
The word "Feral" means "wild, untamed - especially that of a domesticated animal or plant that has returned to a wild state."
Behind Feral is a small community of passionate people who are not afraid to leave the traditional path to go towards unexplored territories, daring to question the status quo and accepting a certain discomfort within the framework of freedom.
This is how they designed their beverages: non-alcoholic fermented botanical drinks, ideal for food and drink pairings.
They are made from humble and forgotten ingredients like beetroot and gain new dignity through lactic fermentation and the infusion of roots, spices and wood to create a new multidimensional taste experience.
The final drink is complex, spicy, persistent and no, you don't taste the earthy taste of beetroot like those served in the canteen.
Feral No.2 Orange - Ginger, allspice, juniper.
Feral Orange No. 2 is deep, warm and has a nice sweet and bitter balance. The allspice balances it all out with some clove notes.
Its bright orange color comes from the infusion of pieces of ginger, pepper and juniper berries with fermented white beet juice.
This is the spiciest of the Ferals so prepare your taste buds!
Close your eyes and you will feel like a climber under the hot August sun, ginger is the obvious protagonist and . We love it with spicy dishes or at the end of a meal as a digestif, alone or with desserts.
