Trained at the Mandarin Oriental in Munich, Niklas in’t Veld continued his career at the three-Michelin-starred restaurant Haerlin in Hamburg, where he developed a deep passion for wine alongside renowned sommeliers. After several experiences, notably in Switzerland, he settled in the Black Forest and worked at the two-Michelin-starred restaurant Ösch Noir, where he created food & wine pairings using the finest vintages.
Faced with a lack of non-alcoholic alternatives capable of matching the complexity of a fine wine, he founded Saveur Drinks. His ambition: to offer gastronomic beverages that allow for a complete culinary experience, without alcohol.
After several years of research, Saveur was launched in 2024 and quickly established itself in starred restaurants across Europe.
Inspired by terroirs from around the world, they offer an elegant, balanced, and deeply contemporary sensory experience.
Discover the still Quince & Kumquat from Saveur.
A touch of refreshing exoticism in the glass—this Saveur marks a menu finale as elegant as it is indulgent.
This creation subtly combines fruity, delicately sweet, and subtly fresh aromas to offer a perfect conclusion to the culinary experience. Perfectly ripe quince unfolds its aromatic richness, accompanied by the tangy vivacity of kumquats from the Greek island of Corfu.
The ample texture and length on the palate are provided by a carefully selected German wildflower honey, which imparts roundness and depth. This balance is perfectly mastered thanks to the refreshing acidity of French bitter oranges and the delicate sweetness of apricot.
In the background, subtle notes of ripe mango enrich the bouquet, adding an exotic and enveloping dimension.
The result: a harmonious and elegant cuvée, designed as a true gastronomic finishing point, at once fresh, indulgent, and persistent.
Food & drink pairings: end of the meal, it perfectly accompanies all variations of desserts: sorbets, panna cotta, soufflés, or fruit-based desserts. A refined conclusion to enhance the final moments of the tasting experience.
