In one of the most modern wineries in the Palatinate, in Duttweiler, the vines grow in an almost Mediterranean landscape.
They have been farmed by the Nett family for five generations.
The special feature? Working in harmony with nature.
Since 2011, certain vineyards have been cultivated as they once were: exclusively by horse power.
This keeps the soil loose, the grapes of higher quality, and gives the wine more character.
In the cellar, the wines are given plenty of time to mature - and this balance between modernity and tradition can be tasted, even in the non-alcoholic wines.
