In one of the most modern wineries in the Palatinate, in Duttweiler, vines grow in an almost Mediterranean landscape.
They have been farmed by the Nett family for five generations.
The special feature? They work in harmony with nature.
Since 2011, some vineyards have been cultivated as they were in the past: exclusively by horse power.
As a result, the soil remains loose, the grapes are of better quality, and the wine has more character.
In the cellar, the wines are given plenty of time to mature - and this harmony between modernity and tradition can be tasted, even in the non-alcoholic wines.
Discover Bergdolt-Reif & Nett - Breakaway Pinot Blanc.
Aged in wooden barrels, this gives it lovely vegetal aromas and light notes of vanilla on the nose.
And on the palate, aromas of ripe apricot and peach.
Its fresh finish would work very well as a cocktail base.
