An intense and modern alternative to red wine, crafted as a true vintage for connoisseurs.
Casca takes its name from cascara, the dried coffee cherry that lies at the heart of this singular creation. Its Colombian distillate provides a unique aromatic signature, both fruity and complex, unfolding over a base of red grape must and verjus.
To enrich structure and depth, this cuvée incorporates cacao husks, decaffeinated specialty coffee, and toasted French oak. The result is a rich aromatic palette blending primary, secondary, and tertiary notes—a rarity in the world of non-alcoholic beverages.
The cascara distillate reveals vibrant aromas of dried fruits and coffee cherry, while the coffee adds body and an almost woody texture. Cacao husks and oak complete the profile with subtle nuances of chocolate, spice, and smoke.
Nose: Intense and original, dominated by cascara (coffee cherry), with notes of wild red berries and beautiful depth.
Palate: Structured and indulgent, with aromas of blackcurrant and sour cherry, highlighted by a touch of cacao and a light, elegant bitterness.
Finish: Long, dry, and woody, with present tannins that provide structure and persistence. A clean finish that invites the next sip.
Food pairings: Ideal with rich and flavorful dishes: grilled meats, stews, mushrooms, or umami-rich plant-based cuisine. It also pairs very well with aged cheeses or low-sugar chocolate desserts.
