Cedro embodies the most vivid and citrus-forward expression of ALTER. At the heart of this creation, citron (Citrus medica) meets grapefruit (Citrus paradisi), enhanced by the delicate freshness of lemon verbena.
The botanicals are grown by the producer and then distilled without alcohol to preserve the full intensity of the primary aromas. These distillates are blended with a base of carefully selected white grapes and organic white fruits (apple, pear), providing structure, balance, and depth.
Nose: Vibrant and aromatic, with notes of white peach and pink grapefruit zest, lifted by a fresh touch of verbena.
Palate: Lively and balanced, blending the elegant bitterness of grapefruit, notes of candied citron, and the herbaceous freshness of lemon verbena.
Finish: Clean and refreshing, marked by a fine bitterness and beautiful, perfectly balanced acidity.
