Trained at the Mandarin Oriental in Munich, Niklas in’t Veld continued his career at the three-Michelin-starred restaurant Haerlin in Hamburg, where he developed a deep passion for wine alongside renowned sommeliers. After several experiences, notably in Switzerland, he settled in the Black Forest and worked at the two-Michelin-starred restaurant Ösch Noir, where he created food & wine pairings using the finest vintages.
Faced with a lack of non-alcoholic alternatives capable of matching the complexity of a fine wine, he founded Saveur Drinks. His ambition: to offer gastronomic beverages that provide a complete culinary experience, without alcohol.
After several years of research, Saveur was launched in 2024 and quickly established itself in Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe.
Inspired by terroirs from all over the world, they offer an elegant, balanced, and deeply contemporary sensory experience.
Discover Saveur's tranquil Lapsang Souchong & Blackberry.
Fresh, slightly sweet blackberries intertwine with the delicately smoky notes of Lapsang Souchong tea, while aronia berries provide a deep fruity intensity, creating an unforgettable taste experience.
Subtle bitter nuances give this cuvée a firm, almost “rough” structure, ideal for pairing with rich and bold dishes. Lapsang Souchong, originating from the Wuyi Mountains in China’s Fujian province, plays a key role here: it balances the richness of the fruit, particularly the notes of black cherry and aronia, by adding an elegant and controlled smoky dimension.
The result is an intense and structured composition, where fruit, smoke, and bitterness respond to one another with precision.
Food & drink pairings: dishes with character such as a rib steak with chimichurri, miso and sesame glazed eggplant, or even a low-sugar chocolate tart.
